Moong Daal Payasam

Ingredients:

Moong daal- 1cup

Milk- 3-4 cups(You can use coconut milk or fresh milk)

Cardamom powder- 1/4 Tea spoon

Cashewnuts- 15-20

Ghee - 1 Tea spoon

Jaggery -1 cup(Adjust as per your taste)

water

How to prepare:
 
1. First wash the moong daal  and put  it in pressure cooker, add 3-4 cups of water,
close the lid and weight for 5-6 whistles.

2.After the pressure is gone , open the lid ,drain out excess water. then add milk to it and stir .

3.Add jaggery and cardamom powder to it.

4.Take another pan , add ghee and fry the cashewnuts.

5.Finally add the cashewnuts to cooker which contains moong daal and mix it well.

6.Cook until Payasam becomes thick.

7. Yummy Moong daal Payasam is ready to serve.
