Bread jamun

Preparation time:8mins
Cooking time:15mins
Serves-4

Ingredients :
Bread-8 white bread (chopped in to very small pieces)
Sugar-3/4th cup
Milk-1/4 cup
Water -1cup

How to prepare:
1.First cut the edges of white bread ,chop
it into very small pieces.
2.Now add this pieces in to a bowl,add little by little milk and soften the bread like a
dough.make a small balls of it and keep.
3.Add water to a vessel,then pour sugar and
make sugar syrup.it should get good consistency.(10mins)
4.Heat the oil in a pan,when it gets heated
up,add bread balls to it,fry untill it
turns golden brown.
5.Once it's fried ,add this in to sugar syrup,
leave it for some time. (Few mins)
6.Tasty bread jamun is ready to serve.



Bread toast fry

Preparation time-3mins
Cooking time -5mins
Serves -2

Ingredients :
Bread -6 slices (chopped)
Green chilli-2
Salt -as per taste
Curry leaves-6 to 8
Ground nuts-10
Oil-1Tea spoon
Channa daal -1/4 Tea spoon(optional)
Urid daal-1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4 Tea spoon
Onion -1small onion(chopped)

How to prepare:
1.First heat the pan ,add oil ,put curry leaves,ground nuts,chana daal,green chilli,onion,urid daal,mustard,saute a for 2mins.
2.Now add chopped (cut edges of white bread) bread and roast for 3 mins ,till it turns slight brown.add little salt & mix.
3.Bread toast fry is ready to eat.

Potato Chips (fry)

Preparation time -10mins
Cooking time -10mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Potato-3 medium sized
Salt -1/2 Tea spoon
Gram flour-1/4cup(Adjust as per taste)
Water
Oil-1cup
Chilli powder-1/2 Tea spoon
Turmeric powder-1/4 Tea spoon
Garam masala powder-1/2 Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First remove the peel,wash and cut it in to thin round slices.
2.Take a bowl ,add gram flour,salt,chilli powder,turmeric, garam masala and water,
make a thick batter .
3.Heat oil in a pan,when it gets heated up ,dip the potato slices in to above batter ,and fry it in oil till golden brown.
4.You can have potatoe fries with tomato sauce.


Mango milk shake

Total time-5mins
Serves-2

Ingredients :
Mango -2 (riped)
Milk-1cup
Water -1cup(optional-you can add only milk)
Sugar -2 Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First wash the mangoes,remove the skin ,
Put the pulp in to blender
2.Now add milk ,water ,sugar in to jar and blend it untill smooth.
3.Healthy mango milk shake is ready to
drink.

Tofu Manchurian

Preparation time -10mins
Cooking time-20mins
Serves-3

Ingredients:

Tofu-200gm
Onion-1 small sized
Salt
All purpose flour-1/4 cup
Corn flour-1Table spoon
Ginger-garlic paste-1Table spoon
Oil-1 cup
Soya sauce-1Table spoon
Chilli sauce-1Table spoon
Pepper powder -1Tea spoon
Capsicum-half (optional)
Spring onion-1/4 cup
Water

How to prepare:
1.First mix all purpose flour,corn flour,salt ,ginger -garlic paste,pepper powder and water,make a batter.
2.Hear oil in a pan,dip the chopped tofu in a above batter and fry it.
3.Take another pan,add oil ,then put chopped Ginger -garlic ,chopped onions  and saute .
4.Now add chopped Capsicum,salt and saute for a min.add soya sauce & chilli sauce and mix.
5.Now add fried tofu to above pan and fry it for 2-3mins,garnish with spring onions.


Sweet Aval

Preparation time -5mins
Cooking time -2mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Aval-100gm(use thin flakes)
Jaggery-1/4 cup
Gratedcoconut -1/4 cup
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Cashew nuts -15
Black seasame seeds-1/4 Tea spoon(optional)
Ghee-1Table spoon
Chana daal-1/4 Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First take a vessel add grated coconut & Jaggery ,mix it well,then add aval & mix it.
2.Take a pan ,add ghee &  get cashews and sesame seeds for a minute & add it to aval and mix.
3.Finally add cardamom powder and mix, Tasty sweet aval is ready to eat.



Potato curry

Preparation time -10mins
Cooking time -15mins
Serves-3 to 4

Ingredients:
Potato - 250g
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urid  daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Curry leaves -15 leaves
Salt as per taste
Onion -one small sized
Green chilli -3 to 4
Water
Garlic -2 cloves
Ginger -1 inch

How to prepare:
1.Take a pan ,heat oil and add mustard,urid daal,curry leaves garlic and saute it for a min.
2.Now add onion and green chilli saute for 2-3mins.
3.Add chopped potatoes and add 1/4 cup of water and allow it to cook or 4-5mins.
4.Now add salt and grated coconut and mix it.
5.Cook for few mins (6-7 mins)
Check whether potato is cooked,adjust salt accordingly.
6.Potato curry is ready to serve.

Chiken gravy with coconut

Preparation time-10 to 15mins
Cooking time -20 to 25 mins
Serves-3

Ingredients:

Chicken-250gm

Bay leaves -2

Pepper corn -10

Cinnamon stick -1 inch

2 onions (chopped)

1 tomatoe ( chopped)

1 Tbsp garlic and Ginger paste

1 tsp coriander whole

1 tsp cumin whole

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

Green cardamom -2

2 Tbsp oil

3 green chilli

Salt to taste

Water

Chopped coriander

Grated coconut -1/4cup

Dried red chilli -3

How to Prepare:

1.First take whole spices ,bay leaf cinamon stick ,cumin whole ,coriander whole,pepper corns, green cardamom ,dried green chilli and grated coconut add this to pan & dry roast for 1minute.then make a paste by adding water  of above ingredients and keep it aside.(use mixy)

2.Heat oil  , when it gets heated up ,add onion saute it for few mins,then add ginger-garlic paste and saute it .

3.Add tomato:, saute it & then add  red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt saute it and then  add  green chilli.

3.Add chicken pieces into the pan,cook for 3 mins , now add coconut paste and allow it to cook for few mins.

4.Add 1cup of water and stir. close the lid.(you can add another 1/2 cup of water if you need)

5. keep medium flame , check whether chicken is cooked.

6.Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Coconut chicken gravy is ready to serve.



Chicken kebab

Preparation time -10mins
Cooking time -10mins
Serves -2 to 3

Ingredients
Chicken -250gm (breast piece will be better)
Chilli powder-1/4 Tea spoon
Turmeric -1/4 Tea spoon
Salt -1/2 Tea spoon
Kebab powder-1Table spoon
Ginger &garlic paste -1Tea spoon
Oil-1 cup
Coriander leaves

How to prepare:
1.First wash and cut the chicken and marinate it with chilli powder,turmeric, salt,kebab powder and ginger garlic paste,keep it aside for ten mins.
2.Heat oil in a pan, when it gets heated fry the chiken until slight brown.(remove the chicken from pan and put it in serving plate,turn off the flame)
3.Finally garnish the  chicken with fresh coriander leaves.


Bread upama

Preparation time-5mins
Cooking time-6-8mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
White Bread -10 slices
Mustard-1/2 Teaspoon
Urid daal-1/2 Teaspoon
Chana daal-1/4 Tea spoon
Curry leaves -15 leaves
Green chilli -3
Salt-as per taste
Cashew nuts -10
Ground nuts -10
Sugar -4 Tea spoon(as per taste)
Ghee-1Table spoon
Grated coconut -1/4cup

How to prepare:
1.Take a vessel add bread crumps (you can cut bread slices in to small pieces) ,grated coconut and sugar mix well , keep this
aside .
2.Take a deep bottomed pan, add ghee,
after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal,chana daal,Onion ,chopped green chilli ,cashew ,ground nuts, add very little salt and mix.
3.Saute till onion turns golden brown, now add bread(which you have  mixed & kept aside)to it & mix.(turn off the flame )
4.Tasty rice Bread upama is ready .


Sweet Moong beans

Preparation time -5 mins
Cooking time -10-15mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Moong beans -1/2
Jaggery -1/4 cup(adjust as per your taste) (powdered)
Coconut grated -1/4 cup
Cardamom powder-1/4Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First wash &  soak moong beans overnight, next day cook it pressure cooker up to 3-4 whistles.
2.Once pressure is gone,  open the lid & drain it.
3.Mix jaggery & Coconut in a bowl , now add drained moong beans to it & mix.
4.Finally add cardamom to it & mix.
5.Sweet Moong beans is ready to taste.

Macaroni Pasta

Preparation time:10mins
Cooking time-15-20mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Macaroni pasta -1cup
Tomato -2 small sized(finely chopped)
Onion -1
Garlic -3 cloves
Coriander leaves(optional)
Olive oil -2 Table spoon
Cheese -you can grate 3 cheese slices
Chilli powder -1/2 Tea spoon
Salt -as per taste.
Oregano -1/4 Tea spoon
Chilly flakes (optional)
Pepper powder -1/2 Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First put water in a vessel ,add pasta allow it to cook for 10-12mins. (Follow the instruction in the packet)
2.Once it's cooked ,drain and keep it aside.
3.Take a pan add oil ;when it gets heated add garlic and saute for a min.
4.Now add onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
5.Add tomatoes ,chilli powder , peppet powder ,salt and saute it for 4-5 mins.
6.Once tomatoes becomes soft add pasta and mix it well.
7.Now sprinkle little oregano ,coriander leaves and mix.
8.Finally add cheese to it ..
Tasty Pasta is ready to serve.


Green peas curry

Preparation time-10mins
Cooking time -20mins
Serves -3

Ingredients:
Green peas -1/2 cup
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- medium sized
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Chilli powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Garam masala - 1/2 Tea spoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Turmeric- 1/4 Tea spoon
Sambhar powder -1/2 Tea spoon
Salt- as per taste
Green chilli -3 sliced
Oil- 2Table spoon
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash green peas & soak overnigt. Next day you cook in pressure cooker . (Wait for 3 whistles)
2.Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
3.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic ,green chilli and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
4. Now add tomato and all the spices powder and sauté ,when tomato becomes soft add green peas,water & mix.
6.Cook for few mins (5 mins)
7.Now adjust salt and chilli powder.
8.Green peas curry  is ready to taste.


Traditional Ragi halva

Preparation time -5mins
Cooking time -15-20mins
Serves 4

Ingredients:
Ragiflour -1cup
Jaggery-3/4thcup
Cardamom  powder-1/4 Tea spoon
Ghee -4 Table spoon
Milk -1cup
Cashews -10(optional)

How to prepare:
1.First take a deep bottomed pan ,add ghee ,when it gets heated up,add ragi  flour ,cashews & dry roast it .(2-3mins)
2. Then add water little by little and mix well without lumps.
3.Add powdered jaggery and mix it.
4.Add milk and then cardamom powder & mix.
5.Keep mixing in between.
6.when it's become thick turn off the flame & pour the mixture in a greased  (with ghee) tray .
7.when it cools down you can cut in to desired shape.


Lemon rice

Preparation time :5mins
Cooking time:25mins
Serves-3
Ingredients:
Basmathi rice -1Cup
Curry leaves -15
Salt -as per taste
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urad daal-1/4 Tea spoon
Chana daal-1/4 Tea spoon
cashews-10
Peanuts-1/4 cup
Green chilli -3(chopped)
Lemon juice as required
Water
Turmeric -Pinch of it
Oil-2 Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.First wash and soak the basmathi rice for 20mins.
2.Now take a deep bottomed pan add rice and 2cups of hot water & cook for 15mins by closing the lid,after its done ,then off the flame and keep the lid closed for another 5 mins.
3.when rice is cooled add salt ,lemon juice and little oil and mix it well.adjust salt & lemon juice accordingly.keep it aside.
4.Take a pan,add oil,when it gets heated up add mustad ,urad daal ,cashews and peanuts,saute it for a min ,then you can add chana daal ,curry leaves ,green chilli &pinch of turmeric saute for a minute.if it's fried ,then add this to rice and mix it well.
5.You  can have lemon rice with yogurt or pickle.

Sprouted moong & black kidney beans mixed curry

Ingredients :
Black kidney beans -1/4cup( You can use canned ones)
Sprouted beans-1/2 cup (you can use readily available or you can make it sprout at home)
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- medium sized
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Chilli powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Garam masala - 1/2 Tea spoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Turmeric- 1/4 Tea spoon
Salt- as per taste
Green chilli -3 sliced
Oil- 2Table spoon
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash black kidney beans & soak overnigt. Next day you cook black kidney beans in pressure cooker . (Wait for 3 whistles)
2.Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
3.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic ,green chilli and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
4. Now add tomato and all the spices powder and sauté it.(for few mins)
5.Put sprouted moong and black kidney beans to the above mixture & add little water and stir.
6.Cook for few mins (5 mins)
7.Now adjust salt and chilli powder accordingly.
8.Sprouted moong and black kidney beans curry is ready to taste.


Wheat Halva (atte ka halva)

Preparation time -5mins
Cooking time-15mins

Ingredients:
Wheat flour -1/2 cup
Water -1cup
Sugar(powdered) -1/2 cup (you can adjust as per taste)
Ghee -4-5 Table spoon
Cashews -10
Almond -5
Dry grapes -10(optional)
Cardamom powder-1/4 Tea spoon

How to prepare:
1.First take a pan ,add ghee ,then put wheat flour and roast for 5-6 mins.
2.Now add water little by little and keep stiring at the same time to avoid lumps.(3-4mins)
3.Once all the water absorbed add sugar and mix it well,intially it will be sticky,but later on it will become smooth.
4.Keep stiring  in between.(cook for 3-4mins)
5.Add little ghee and cardamom powder ,mix well. (Turnoff the flame)
6 .Finally add fried cashews ,dry grapes and almond.

Plain dosa & Coconut chutney recipe

Preparation time 8-9 hours
Cooking time -20mins
Serves-6

Ingredients:
Rice -3cup ( dosa or idli rice)
Urad daal -1cup
Salt as per taste
Salt or ghee
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash &  soak rice and urad daal separately in a vessel for 4 hours.
2.Then grind urad daal & Rice in to smooth batter by adding water but grind them separately.
3.Now combine both the batter, add little salt & mix.keep it for fermentation for 8-9 hours.
4.After fermentation is done , mix the batter well with the spoon.
5.Heat the pan , add liitle ghee or oil ,then put dosa batter in the pan spread it smoothly using spoon.
6.Fry both sides , Dosa is ready .

Coconut Chutney:
Preparation time -5 min
Grinding -3mins
Ingredients:
Coconut -1 cup
Green chilli -2 to 3
Ginger -1 inch
Water
Salt

How to prepare:
1.Take a mixy jar and add coconut
Green chilli,ginger ,water little ,salt as per
taste & grind it in to a smooth paste.
2.you can adjust salt and water according to your choice.
3.you can have chutney with dosa or idli.

Egg fry

Ingredients :
Egg -4 
Curry leaves -10
Turmeric -Pinch of it
Chilli powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Pepper powder-1/4 Tea spoon
Salt as per taste
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Oil -1 Tea spoon
Water

How to prepare:
1.First cook the eggs (I used cooker to
boil the eggs 3 cups of water & close the lid
and wait for one whistle)
you can use any vessel ,add water ,put eggs and cook for 6-8 mins.
2.after egg cooles down, remove the egg cover ,using a knife make small cuts in eggs.
3.Take a frying pan ,add oil ,mustard,turmeric powder ,chilli powder,curry leaves ,pepper powder and salt,saute  for a min and add eggs and fry it for a minute or two.
4.Egg fry is ready.

French fries

Preparation time -10-15 mins
Cooking time -10mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Potato -4 medium sized
Oil-2 cup
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste

How to prepare:
1.First peel the potato skin ,wash and cut it in to long sliced, wash it again and wipe it with tissue paper.
2.Heat  oil in a pan ,when it gets heated
Add potato pieces and fry it till it becomes
but crunchy.
3.Put the fried potatoes on the tissue paper
so that it absorbed excess oil .
4.Now put potato fried in serving plate,
then sprinkle it with salt & pepper powder as per your taste.
5.French fries ready to serve.


Brinzal curry (Egg plant)

Preparation time-15 mins
Cooking time -20mins.
Serves-3

Ingredients :
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- 1small
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Chilli powder- 1 Tea spoon
Turmeric- 1/4 Tea spoon
Salt- as per taste
Oil- 2Table spoon
Coconut Grated- 1cup
Red chilli dried-2
Coriander whole-1/2 Tea spoon
Cumin whole -1/2 Tea spoon
Pepper corn-8
Chana daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Water

How to prepare:
1. Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
2.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
3. Now add tomato and red chilli & turmeic powder and sauté it.
4.Grind the coconut in to a smooth paste, add this coconut paste to above mixture.
6.Add 2 cups of water and stir it.
7.Take a vessel and cook the Brinzal for 10-15mins in water, after its cooked add brinzal to above mixture.
8.Dry roast whole cumin, Coriander whole ,red chilli dried ,chana daal ,make a powder ,add this to the above gravy and stir.
8.Add salt  & cook until gravy becomes little thick.

Oats dosa

Preparation time: 6 mins
Cooking time -2 to 3mins per each dosa
Serves- 2 to 3 .

Ingredients:
Oats-1cup(use quick cooking oats)
Urid daal-1/2 cup
Water
Salt -as per taste.
Ghee -1 Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.First dry roast oats and urid daal for 2 to 3 mins.
2.Make a smooth powder  using  mixer grinder .
3.Add this powder to a vessel, add water little by little to make a smooth batter.
4.Heat the pan ,add little ghee ,put  the dosa better and fry both sides (be carefull while turning because it's little sticky )
5.you can have oats dosa with coconut chutney.

Rice vermicelli upama


Ingredients:
Rice vermicelli-200gm
Onion -1 small
Mustard-1/2 Teaspoon
Urid daal-1/2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves -15/20 leaves
Green chilli -3
Salt-as per taste
Water
Cashew nuts -10(optional)
Ground nuts -10
Sugar -5/6 Tea spoon(as per taste)
Ghee-2 Table spoon
Grated coconut -1/4 cup
Turmeric powder-pinch of it.
Chana daal-1/4 Teaspoon

How to prepare:
1.Take a vessel ,add  water (4cups),when  Water starts boiling  ,add vermicelli and cook.
2.Once it's cooked drain the Water & keep the vermicelli aside.
3.Take a deep bottomed pan, add ghee,
after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal,
Onion ,chopped green chilli ,cashew ,ground nuts, Saute till onion turns golden brown, then add  vermicelli to it &mix.
4. add sugar grated coconut & mix well.
5.Tasty rice vermicelli upama is ready.

Serves-3 to 4

Ingredients:
Frenc beans- 200g
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urid  daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Curry leaves -15 leaves
Salt as per taste
Onion -one small sized
Green chilli -3 to 4
Water
Garlic -2 cloves
Ginger -1 inch

How to prepare:

Ingredients:
Beetroot- 250g
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urid  daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Curry leaves -15 leaves
Salt as per taste
Onion -one small sized
Green chilli -3 to 4
Water
Garlic -2 cloves

How to prepare:
1.Take a pan ,heat oil and add mustard,urid daal,curry leaves garlic and saute it for a min.
2.Now add onion and green chilli saute for 2-3mins.
3.Add chopped (cube) beetroots and add 1/4 cup of water and allow it to cook or 4-5mins.
4.Now add salt and grated coconut and mix it.
5.Cook for few mins (6-7 mins)
Check whether beetroot is cooked,adjust salt accordingly.
6.Beetroot curry is ready to serve.


Oats Payasam

Preparation time-3 mins
Cooking time -5 to 6 mins
Serves -2

Ingredients:
Oats -1/2 cup(you can use quick cooking oats )
Sugar -3/4 th cup
Milk -2 cup
Cashews-10
Dry grapes -10 (optional)
Almond-5
Ghee -1Table spoon
Cardamom powder-pinch of it.
Water

How to prepare:
1.First dry roast the oats for 2 mins.
2.Now take a vessel ,add milk and sugar ,stirr well.(turn on the flame)
3.Add roasted oats to it & stirr, allow it to
Cook for 5 mins.
4.Add cardamom powder and stir.
5.Take another pan ,add ghee ,fry cashews ,almonds & Dry grapes.
6.Oats payasam is ready to taste.

Jeera Rice

Ingredients:
Basmati rice -1cup
Jeera-4 Tea spoon
Curry leaves -15 (Optional)
Salt as per taste
Ghee -1 to 2 Table spoon
Coriander leaves -(optional)
Water
Cashews -10 (optional)
Cinnamon stick -1inch
Cardamom -2
Onion -1 big sized
Bay leaf -1

How to prepare:
1.First wash basmathi rice and
soak for 20 mins.
2.Take a deep bottomed pan , add
ghee to it , when it gets heated up ,add jeera , bay leaf,cardamom ,cinamon stick, curry leaves & saute it for a min.then add onions and fry till it turns golden brown.
3.Now drain water from rice ,add this to pan ,then add salt ,saute for a min.
4.Now add 2cups of water and close the lid.
5.cook for 15mins ,check in between.
6.Check whether rice is cooked,if yes turn off the flame.
7.Keep the lid closed for 5 mins.
8.Now you can garnish with fresh coriander leaves and fried cashews. (Its optional)


Special chikken curry

Preparation time -15mins
Cooking time -25mins
Serves-4

Ingredients:

1/2 kg chicken

Bay leaves -2

Pepper corn -10

Cinnamon stick -1 inch

2 large onions (chopped)

2 large tomatoe ( chopped)

1 Tbsp garlic and Ginger paste

1 tsp coriander whole

1 tsp cumin whole

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

Chopped coriander

How to Prepare:

1.First take whole spices ,bay leaf cinamon stick ,cumin whole ,coriander whole,pepper corns, green cardamom ,add this to pan & dry roast for 30-40 sec.then make a powder of above ingredients and keep it aside.

2.Heat oil  , when it gets heated up ,add onion saute it for few mins,then add ginger-garlic paste and saute it .

3.Add tomato:, saute it & then add  red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt saute it and then  add  green chilli.

3.Add chicken pieces into the pan,cook for 3 mins , now add powdered spice and allow it to cook for few mins.

4.Add 1cup of water and stir. close the lid.(you can add another 1/2 cup of water if you need)

5. keep medium flame , check whether chicken is cooked.

6.Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Special chicken curry is ready to serve.


Broken wheat Payasam

Ingredients :

Broken wheat - 1/2 cup

Milk- 3cups(You can use coconut milk or fresh milk)

Cardamom powder- 1/4 Tea spoon

Cashewnuts- 15-20

Ghee - 1 Tea spoon

Jaggery -1 cup(Adjust as per your taste)

Dates-5 (chopped)

water

How to prepare:

1. First wash the broken wheat and put  it in pressure cooker, add 3-4 cups of water,
close the lid and weight for 5-6 whistles.

2.After the pressure is gone , open the lid ,drain out excess water. then add milk to it and stir .

3.Add jaggery and cardamom powder to it.

4.Take another pan , add ghee and fry the cashewnuts.

5.Finally add the cashewnuts to cooker which contains broken wheat and mix it well. Add chopped dates to it & mix.

6.Cook until Payasam becomes thick.

7. Yummy Broken wheat  Payasam is ready to serve.

Egg Biriyani

Ingredients :
Basmathi rice -1cup
Onion -2 medium sized
Tomato-1 big sized
Bay leaf-1
Cinnamon stick -1 inch
Cloves-4
Cardamom -2
Salt as per taste.
Ghee -2 Table spoon
Ginger and garlic paste -1Table spoon
Green chilli -3 long sliced
Turmeric powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Red chilli powder -1 Tea spoon
Coriander powder1 Tea spoon
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Coriander leaves
Pudina leaves
Egg -6 halved
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash the rice and soak for 20mins.
2.Take a deep bottomed pan,add ghee ,when it gets heated up add bay leaf, Clove, cinnamon stick,pepper corns and cardamom saute it for a min.
3.Now add onions, fry untill it turns golden brown.
4. Add tomatoes & saute it .Cook for 3 mins, now add ginger -garlic paste and green chilli ,now add chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder.
4.Add salt  ,coriander & pudina leaves ,cook till tomatoe becomes soft.then add halved eggs and cook for 2 mins.
5.Now cook soaked  rice by adding 2 cups of hot water in a separate vessel.
6.Cook for 15 mins.check whether  rice is cooked ,if yes turn off the flame.keep the lid closed for 5mins.
7.Now add this cooked rice to pan containing tomato paste,again put some coriander leaves , Pudina leaves and mix it well.
8.Egg biriyani is ready.


Vegetable Pulao

 Ingredients :
Basmathi rice -1cup
Onion -one big sized
French Beans -100gm (chopped)
Green peas -1/4 cup ( you can use frozen or fresh)
Carrot-one big sized  (chopped or long sliced)
Cauliflower -(optional)
Pepper corn -10
Bay leaf-1
Cinnamon stick -1 inch
Cloves-4
Cardamom -2
Salt as per taste.
Ghee -2 Table spoon
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash the rice and soak for 20mins.
2.Take a deep bottomed pan,add ghee ,when it gets heated up add bat leaf, Clove, cinnamon stick,pepper corns and cardamom saute it for a min.
3.Now add onions, fry untill it turns golden brown , now add all vegetables and saute it.
4.Now add soaked  rice and 2 and half cups of hot water and add salt as per taste.
4.Give a careful stir and close the lid.
5.Cook for 15 mins.check whether  rice is cooked ,if yes turn off the flame.keep the lid closed for another 5 mins.
6.Simple quick veg pulao is ready to serve.


Coconut Burfi

Ingredients :
Coconut -3cup
Sugar -1 to 2 cup
Milk -1/2 cup
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Cashews -15(optional)
Ghee -2 Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.Take a deep bottomed pan,add ghee then add grated coconut ,sugar , milk and mix it.
2.keep stirring  in between
3.Add cardamom powder and stir.
4.Cook till all sugar melts and becomes sticky.(It will take 10mins approximately )
5.Pour this mixture in to greased tray and cut it in to any desired shape.
6.Fry the cashews in ghee and decorate coconut burfi with it.



Carrot curry

Ingredients:
Carrot- 250g
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urid  daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Curry leaves -15 leaves
Salt as per taste
Onion -one small sized
Green chilli -3 to 4
Water
Garlic -2 cloves

How to prepare:
1.Take a pan ,heat oil and add mustard,urid daal,curry leaves garlic and saute it for a min.
2.Now add onion and green chilli saute for 2-3mins.
3.Add chopped (cube) carrots and add 1/4 cup of water and allow it to cook or 4-5mins.
4.Now add salt and grated coconut and mix it.
5.Cook for few mins (6-7 mins)
Check whether carrot is cooked,adjust salt accordingly.
6.Carrot curry is ready to serve.




Butter milk

Ingredients :
Yogurt-2cup
Salt -as per taste
Pepper powder -1/4 Tea spoon (Adjust accordingly-its optional,you can skip it)
Coriander leaves
Green chillies -2 (finely chopped)
Ginger-1 inch(Chopped)
Water
How to prepare :
1.Take a blender ,add yogurt and a cup.of water ,now add liitlle salt and pepper powder ,blend it for a minute or 2.
2.Finally transfer the butter milk in to a glass,add ginger ,little chilli and garnish with coriander leaves.

Black chana -1/2 cup
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- medium sized
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch

Chilli powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Pepper powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Garam masala - 1/2 Tea spoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Cumin powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Turmeric- 1/4 Tea spoon
Chana masala-1 Tea spoon
Salt- as per taste
Oil- 2Table spoon
Water
Coriander leaves -(optional)

How to prepare:
1.First wash black chana & soak overnigt. Next day you cook black chana in pressure cooker . (Wait for 3 whistles)
2.Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
3.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
4. Now add tomato and all the spices powder and sauté it.(for few mins)
5.Put cooked chana to the above mixture & add little water and stir.
6.Cook for few mins (5 mins)
7.Now adjust salt and chilli powder accordingly.
8.Chana masala curry is ready to taste.

Peanut Chikki

Ingredients:
Peanut -1cup
Jaggery -3/4th cup ( powder)
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Water -1 Table spoon
Ghee- 2 Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.First dry roast halved peanuts and keep it aside.(when it gets cooled remove the skin and make it halved)
2.Take a pan ,add 1 Table spoon of ghee ,when it gets heated add jaggery .saute it in between,
3.Add roasted peanuts and mix it with jaggery .
4.Add cardamom powder and mix it .
5.turn off the flame , apply ghee to tray and put the above mixture to it.smoother the surface and cut with knife for your desired shape.
6.Quick peanut chikki is ready .


Sprouted moong beans curry

Ingredients:
Sprouted moong beans -1cup
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- 1small
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Chilli powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Pepper powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Garam masala - 1/2 Tea spoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Cumin powder- 1/2 Tea spoon
Turmeric- 1/4 Tea spoon
Salt- as per taste
Oil- 2 Table spoon
Coconut Grated- 1cup
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash moong beans and soak it over night , next day put the moong beans in drainer , sprinkle water 5-6 times a day (leavr it for 1day,if you want it to sprout well) ,then you can cook in a vessel for ten mins.keep it aside.
2. Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
3.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
4. Now add tomato and all the spices powder and sauté it.
4.Grind the coconut in to a smooth paste, add this coconut paste to above mixture.
6.Add 2 cups of water  & stir. Now add cooked moong beans to it and mix well.
7.Add salt  & cook until gravy becomes little thick.

Black kidney beans curry

Tomato- medium sized
Curry leaves-15-20
Urid daal- 1/4 Tea spoon
Mustard-1/4Tea spoon
Ginger- 1inch
Garlic - 3 cloves

2.Take deep bottomed pan and add oil , mustard, urid daal , curry leaves  ,sauté .
3.Then add onion ,ginger ,garlic and sauté it till onion turns golden brown.
4. Now add tomato and all the spices powder and sauté it.(for few mins)
5.Put cooked beans to the above mixture & add little water and stir.
6.Cook for few mins (5 mins)
7.Now adjust salt and chilli powder accordingly.
8.Black kidney beans curry is ready to taste.


Potato Baji

Ingredients :
Potato - 4 medium sized
Onion -1 medium sized
Tomato-1 small sized
Mustard-1/4 Tea spoon
Urid  daal-1/4 Tea spoon
Curry leaves-15 leaves
Coriander leaves
Green chilli- 3 to 4 
Salt -as per taste
Turmeric powder -Pinch of it
Ginger -1 inch
Garlic -2 cloves
Water
Oil -1 Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.Take a pressure cooker ,put potato and 5 cups of water ,close the lid .wait for 6 whistles.
2.Once the pressure is gone , open and peel out the potatoes and mash it & keep aside.
3.Add oil , when it gets heated up , add ginger ,garlic, urid daal ,mustard and curry leaves.
4.Saute it for 2-3 mins , then add onion, fry till it turns golden brown.
5.Now add chopped tomatoes & saute it.
(Cook for few mins) and add salt .
6.Add mashed potatoes and mix it well,then add a cup of water ,add pinch of turmeric,
cook till it becomes thicker. (Adjust water accordingly )
7.Finally garnish with coriander leaves.

Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients:
Basmati rice- 1cup
Onion -1 big sized
Carrot -1 medium sized (grated or chopped)
Capsicum-1small sized (chopped)
Ginger -1 inch
Garlic -3 cloves
Oil -1 to 2 Table spoon
Soya sauce (light )-1 Table spoon
Green chilli sauce -1 Table spoon
Pepper powder-1 Tea spoon
Salt -according to taste
Egg-8

How to prepare:
1.First take a deep bottomed pan , add oil when it gets heated up ,add ginger ,garlic and saute till raw smell goes away.
2. Add onion to it,saute untill it turns golden brown, now add capsicum , carrot and saute it . (Cook for few mins)
3.Now add liitle salt and pepper powder and saute it.
4.Add soya sauce and green chilli sauce ,mix it.
5.Now you can add cooked rice & mix it.
6.keep this aside .
7.Take a bowl ,crack eggs ,add salt & pepper powder ,beat the mixture.
8.Take a pan ,add oil ,now pour tphe egg mixture and cook , cut the eggs in to small pieces using spoon.
9.Finally add this egg pieces to rice and mix well.
10.Adjust salt & pepper as per your taste.
11.Spicy Egg fried rice is ready to serve.





Rice Aval Upama

Rice aval -200g(use thin flakes)
Onion -1 small
Mustard-1/2 Teaspoon
Urid daal-1/2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves -15/20 leaves
Green chilli -3
Salt-as per taste
Cashew nuts -10
Ground nuts -10
Sugar -5/6 Tea spoon(as per taste)
Ghee-2 Table spoon
Grated coconut -1/4cup
Turmeric powder pinch of it
Water

How to prepare:
1.Take a vessel add rice aval ,grated coconut and sugar mix well , keep this
aside .(you can sprinkle little water if you want aval to be soft)
2.Take a deep bottomed pan, add ghee,
after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal,
Onion ,chopped green chilli ,cashew ,ground nuts, add very little salt,
 pinch of turmeric & mix.
3.Saute till onion turns golden brown, now add rice aval (which you have  mixed & kept aside)to it & mix.
4.Tasty rice aval upama is ready .

Vermicelli Upama

Ingredients:
vermicelli-200gm
Onion -1 small
Mustard-1/2 Teaspoon
Urid daal-1/2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves -15/20 leaves
Green chilli -3
Salt-as per taste
Water -3to4cup
Cashew nuts -10(optional)
Ground nuts -10
Sugar -5/6 Tea spoon(as per taste)
Ghee-2 Table spoon
Grated coconut -1/4 cup
Chana daal-1/4 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves-(optional)

How to prepare:

1.First take a deep bottomed pan, add ghee,
after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal,
Onion ,chopped green chilli ,cashew ,ground nuts.
2.Saute till onion turns golden brown, now add vermicelli to it & fry it for few mins .
3.Now keep the above mixture in a plate.
4.Add 2 cups of water to the pan,once it starts boiling ,add  little salt and add vermicelli mixture  & stir well.(till all the water evoporates)
5. Once vermicelli is cooked add sugar grated coconut & mix well.you can garnish with coriander leaves.
6.Tasty vermicelli upama is ready


Rava Upama

Ingredients :
Rava (semolina)-1cup
Onion -1 small
Mustard-1/2 Teaspoon
Urid daal-1/2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves -15/20 leaves
Green chilli -3
Salt-as per taste
Water -2 cup
Cashew nuts -10
Ground nuts -10
Sugar -5 to 6 Tea spoon(as per taste)
Ghee-2 Table spoon
Grated coconut -1/4 cup
Chana daal-1/4 Teaspoon

How to prepare:

1.First take a deep bottomed pan, add ghee,
after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal,

Apple-Beet-Carrot Juice

Ingredients:
Apple -1 medium sized
Carrot -1/2 medium sized
Beet root-1/4 th in one small beetroot
Water -2cup
Milk -1/4 cup (optional)

How to prepare:
1.First wash Apple ,carrot, beet root and peel the outer skin & cut it in to small
Pieces.
2.Now add these to juice maker along with water  (blender) Blend it untill smooth.
3.you can drink as it is or you can add litlle
Milk and drink.  (Its optional )


4.It is a very healthy drink.

Tomato Rasam

Ingredients:
Green chilli-3 (chopped)
Ginger-2 inch
Garlic -4 cloves 
Curry leaves -15-20 leaves
Coriander leaves
Water 
Salt -as per taste 
Rasam powder -1 Tea spoon
Turmeric powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Chilli powder -1/2 Tea spoon
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Coriander powder -1/2 Tea spoon
Pepper powder-1/2 Tea spoon
Cumin powder-1/2 Tea spoon
Urid daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Onion -1 medium sized
Tomato -4/5 medium sized
Oil-1Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.First add oil to deep bottmed pan ,after it gets heated add mustard, urid daal ,after frying it for a minute,add onion ,green chilli ,curry leaves, ginger ,garlic and saute it till onion turns golden colour.
2.Now add chopped onions and all the above mentined spice powder and saute for 3/4 mins.
3.Add 3/4 cups of water and cook in a medium flame.
4.Check whether tomato is cooked, if it is cooked well turn off the flame .
5.Finally add coriander leaves, adjust salt and chilli powder according to your taste.




Yellow lentils Daal

Ingredients :
Yellow lentils-1/2cup
Green chilli-3 (chopped)
Ginger-2 inch
Garlic -4 cloves 
Curry leaves -15-20 leaves
Coriander leaves
Water 
Salt -as per taste 
Sambar powder -1 Tea spoon
Turmeric powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Chilli powder -1/2 Tea spoon
Mustard -1/4 Tea spoon
Urid daal -1/4 Tea spoon
Onion -1 medium sized
Tomato -1 small
Oil-1Table spoon

How to prepare:
1.First wash the yellow lentils and soak for 30 mins.
2.Drain the water ,add yellow lentils to pressure cooker,add 3-4 cups of water, then add onion, tomato,ginger,garlic ,green chilli,turmeric,sambar ,chilli powder and salt and stir.
3.Close the lid and wait for 5/6 whistles. (Turn on the flame )
4.Take another pan,put oil and then add uridaal,mustard,
Onion ,ginger,garlic and curry leaves, dry it tikk onion turns golden brown.
5.check whether pressue is gone ,open the lid & add above fried ingredients to it and stir.
6.Finally add coriander leaves, adjust salt according to your taste.

Milk Pedha

Ingredients :
Sweetened condensed milk-400gm tin
Milk powder-1 cup
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea  spoon
Ghee -1 Tea spoon
Cashews-10(you can use small chopped cashews)
Grapes -10
Almond -10(optional)
How to prepare:
1.Take a vessel ,add milk powder and condensed milk , mix it well.
2.Keep medium flame, Cook for 2 mins  & saute  in between.
3.Now add cardamom powder and mix it , Cook for another 2 mins
4.turnoff the flame. After its cooled for a while, apply ghee on your palm and make small balls of this mixture.
5.you can decorate it with cashews, dry grapes and almonds.
6.Simple ,quick Milk pedha is ready.


Sabudana Kheer(Sago)

Ingredients :
Sabudana-1cup
Sugar -1/2cup(adjust as per taste)
Ghee  -1 Table spoon
Cashew nuts -10
Dry grapes -10
Cardamom powder -1/4 Tea spoon
Milk -3cups
Water

How to prepare:
1.First wash & soak sabudana for 1 hour.
2.Take deep bottomed pan cook sabudana  in water,once it's cooked ,add milk ,sugar and stir
 3.add cardamom powder,
heat it in a medium flame,keep stirring in between.
4.Take another pan ,add ghee , fry cashewnuts & dry grapes.
5.Finally add cashews & grapes  to vessel containing sabudana,Cook untill payasam becomes thicker.
6.Tasty payasam is ready

Simple Bread Cake

Ingredients:

Egg-4
Sugar -2 Table spoon
Bread-6 slices ( cut the edges if a bread and Put it in a good processor and make a bread powder)
Cashewnuts -10
Dry Grapes-10
Almond-5(chopped)
Cardamom Powder-1/4 Tea spoon
Butter
Milk -1/2cup

How to prepare:
1.Take a bowl ,add sugar and egg ,milk stir until all the sugar dissolves in
 it, add bread powder  and mix well.
2.Then add cardamom powder , cashews , dry grapes and almond.
3.Apply butter to cake tin (round or square) and pour the above mixture.
4.you can transfer this mixture to microwave safe bowl and cook for 4-5 mins
5.Check whether cake is cooked by inserting tooth pick in to it.
6.Take the cake out and keep it in a refreigerator for 30mins, you can cut with knife in to any desired shape.
7.Yummy cake is ready.

Choco fudge

Ingredients:
Sweetened condensed milk-400g(small tin)
Milk powder-1 cup
Cocoa powder-3 Table spoon
Ghee-1 Tea spoon
Cashew nuts -1/2 cup (chopped)
Walnut -1/4 cup (optional)
Vanilla essence-1 Tea spoon

How to prepare:

1.Take a vessel ,put little ghee ,then add condensed milk  ,  milk powder  and mix it well.
2.keep the flame medium ,cook for 2 mins and then add cocoa powder &mix
3.when it starts becoming thicker , add vanilla essence  and mix well.
4.cook for 1-2 mins ,then turnoff the flame.
5.Take a tray , apply ghee to it, then put this mixture and smoothen the surface.
6.Now sprinkle chopped cashews and walnuts.
7.Refrigerate for 30 mins, then you can cut it with knife in any shape.
8.Simple choco fudge is ready to taste.
